Archives and Museum of Literature, AML
ABOUT CLIENT :
The Archives and Museum of Literature (AML) is an archival center located in Brussels. Its collections are available for consultation both on-site and online through a digital catalog. To enhance the user experience and modernize their online presence, they were looking for a partner to design and develop a new website. This digital transformation aligns with AML’s mission to preserve and promote Belgium’s francophone literary and theatrical heritage, ensuring that their resources are more accessible to researchers, enthusiasts, and the general public.
HOW DID WE HELP THEM :
As part of the Archives and Museum of Literature (AML) website redesign, we created a modern and seamless web interface, designed to optimize user navigation and accessibility. The new design was carefully crafted with the AML team to maintain continuity with AML’s visual identity while completely rethinking the site’s structure.
We developed a custom made website, featuring a blog, a dedicated editions section, and direct access to AML’s key tools, including the OPAC, Fonds, and SCAPIN.
At the same time, we collaborated with Luc Wanlin to define the framework of their internally developed OPAC catalog, ensuring a clear and intuitive architecture.
With this redesign, AML’s digital tools are now part of a unified and scalable online ecosystem, tailored to meet the needs of researchers and literature enthusiasts.
