Invest in long-term SEO strategy!

We often see that people forget to include a long-term SEO strategy in their marketing plan.

For those who don’t know SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, it is the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of traffic to your website through organic search engine result.

What is the difference with SEA?

SEA or Search Engine Advertising revolves around advertising. When using SEA, you will invest in long (ea. create brand awareness) or short (ea. push a certain promotion) term ads that will be shown in the search results above the organic results. As the word says itself, you will be paying for those advertisements.

SEO is a slow process, you won’t notice a difference in traffic the next day, it will take some time for your website to get a higher position in the results of the search engines. On the long term you will benefit from it, that’s why it’s a long term strategy. SEA will offer you a direct result, but once you stop the ads, you will no longer see the effect.

Why is it important to integrate a long-term SEO strategy in your marketing plan?

As we mentioned above, it’s a long term and low cost strategy that will help your business to provide the right content to your visitors. The better and popular your content is, the more stronger you SEO will become over time which means your website will be more visible on search engines (Google, Bing…) on the long term. This all will lead to more traffic and more opportunities to convert prospects into customers.
